Early Services The beginning of Iglesia Bautista Fe

Two months to-the-day after we arrived in Puerto Rico, we started Iglesia Bautista Fe. Bro. Calvin George and his family came down to help us with knocking doors and preaching. Bro. George is Missionary to Cuba, but is presently unable to get a visa into Cuba (due to having three small children) and so while working on getting into Cuba, he and his family are helping us get started.

We started by having services in our living room. A fellow missionary, Bro. Steve Myerly had contacted me about some 30+ chairs he had on hand and said he would be willing to sell them to us if we were interested. We were so excited, we went up the next day and bought all he had, and set every one of them up, the following Sunday morning.

Our first Sunday, we had 3 visitors (2 being my daughter and son-in-law) for a total of 11.
