During the month of February, 2007, Iglesia Bautista Fe celebrated its first birthday (which is Feb. 19) with a banquet (sorry no pix) and great fellowship, on Feb. 18, Sunday. In all, we had 31 in attendance including the man that helped us to obtain our permits. Pedro Bourdoy was a great help to our church.

On Feb. 19, we loaded up our church van and went to Mayaguez for the annual Puerto Rico Ladies Jubilee/Pastors fellowship. This year Dr. Ezekiel Salazar was the key speaker for the men, while his wife was the key note speaker for the Ladies. More than 500 people from all over the island came to the jubilee. The ladies said that their sessions were a tremendous blessing to them; the men’s sessions were a tremendous blessing to the Pastors, as well.

A little later in the month, we painted the front of our church and the front of our neighbor’s as well. We also installed our sign...just beautiful...Praise the LORD!

Also in February we met Flat Stanley; he was sent to us by one of the children in the Lancaster Baptist Christian School. Lancaster Baptist (Pastor Paul Chappel) is one of our supporting churches. Flat Stanley went with us on a few adventures involving our ministry here in Puerto Rico.
