January 2007January 2007 was our first month in our new location. We had spent a month painting, repairing pews, installing floor-tiles (which our landlord graciously provided), installing emergency lighting, getting our inspections and permits, etc. It was a lot of hard work, but it really paid off because we truly have a beautiful place that honors God; He is worthy of all honor we could give Him. Truly, IT PAYS TO SERVE GOD! We also ended the old year with a watch-night service which we held in our home, and spent the last minutes of the old year and the first minutes of the new year PRAYING as a church family. What a great way to serve our God! Bro. Ricky William, a student of the Puerto Rico
Baptist College, came to work with us. Bro. Ricky is from the island
of St. Lucia in the West Indies. He is an inspiration to watch as he
has a tremendous burden for the souls of our people, has a great attitude
and is a hard worker. Welcom Bro. Ricky! |
