July-August 2006

In July 06 we began renting the apartment just below our home to use as a meeting place. We had to remove a closet, paint the walls, polish the floor, etc. It was great fun to have one our great friends from our home church come and help us out with some of the work. Bro. Brad Magee is a great servant of God and has a tremendous heart for the work of God.

One of Mary’s discipleship students received her new Bible for faithful attendance.

In August, Mary started taking a self-taught course on how to play the piano. She loves the practice and is faithful to her two-hour daily regimen. She is improving with every lesson. One day she hopes to play for our church on a regular basis.

August was also the month we obtained our new church hymnals.
